Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa87-103 (EDDTDEALRVQNLLQDD) of human TRAM.
TRAM, or TRIF-related adaptor molecule, plays an essential role in the MyD88-independent signaling of TLR4. The functional absence of TRAM in vascular endothelial cells restricts TLR4 signaling to MyD88-dependent pathway. Overexpression of TRAM cDNA in endothelial cells reconstituted LPS-induced Trif-dependent NF-eB activation and cxcl10 promoter activity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Lung Tissue Lysates Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
