Full-length recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-423 from human Transcobalamin 1 with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
This gene encodes a member of the vitamin B12-binding protein family. This family of proteins, alternatively referred to as R binders, is expressed in various tissues and secretions. This protein is a major constituent of secondary granules in neutrophils and facilitates the transport of cobalamin into cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
