Transforming Growth Factor beta RIII (TGF-beta RIII) is a transmembrane proteoglycan that binds TGF-beta with high affinity. TGF-b RIII lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-b2 binding and signaling. A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
