Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to Gly21-Asp781 of human Transforming Growth Factor beta receptor type III expressed in NS0 cells.
TGF-beta RIII is a transmembrane proteoglycan that binds TGF-beta with high affinity. TGF-beta RIII lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-beta2 binding and signaling. A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Non-reducing only Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse inoculated with human Transforming Growth Factor beta receptor type III transfected NS0 mouse myeloma cells Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
