Recombinant protein corresponding to Gly21-Asp781 from human Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III, expressed in NS0 cells.
Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III is a transmembrane proteoglycan that binds TGF- beta with high affinity. Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-beta2 binding and signaling. A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form. Applications Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml using recombinant human Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III Flow Cytometry: 25ug/10e6 cells using PC-3 human prostate cancer cell line Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
