Transglutaminases are a family of structurally and functionally related enzymes that stabilize protein assemblies through the formation of gamma glutamyl epsilon lysine crosslinks. They all have the same aa sequence at their active sites and their activity is calcium dependent. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:16,000 Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
