Immunogen:
Recombinant protein corresponding to Gly18-Cys178 from the extracellular domain of mouse TREML1, expressed in NSO cells.
TREML1 is a type I transmembrane protein that differs from TREM in the cytoplasmic region by having two ITIMs (Immunoreceptor Tyrosine-based Inhibition Motif). A splice variant lacking ITIMs in its cytoplasmic domain also exists. TREML1 is found only in platelets and megakaryocytes. The extracellular region of human and mouse TLT-1 share 75% amino acid sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
