Immunogen: Free human cardiac Troponin T
Troponin T is a thin filament regulatory protein of striated muscle that binds to troponin C and I and to tropomyosin and is required for calcium-dependent ATPase activity of myofibrillar proteins. It is important in proper muscle function and myofibril formation. In the human heart, four cTnT isoforms are expressed in a developmentally regulated manner. This expression in the human heart is affected by heart failure. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunoaffinity Purification and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
