Recombinant protein corresponding to Ala16-Ser247 from human Trypsin 1, expressed in NS0 cells.
Trypsin 1, also known as cationic trypsinogen, contains a signal peptide (aa1-15), a pro region (aa16-23), and a mature chain (aa24-247). Trypsin 1 is synthesized in the pancreas and secreted into the duodenum lumen, where it is activated by enterokinase. Its major physiologic function is to digest food and to activate other pro-enzymes by cleaving peptide bonds after arginine or lysine. Mutations in Trypsin 1 can cause hereditary pancreatitis. The amino acid sequence of human Trypsin 1 is 79% identical to that of mouse. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml. Recombinant Human Trypsin 1 under non-reducing conditions only Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml. Conditoined cell culture medium spiked with Recombinant Human Trypsin 1 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
