Tryptase E, also known as brain-specific serine protease 4 (BSSP-4) and brain serine protease 2 (BSP-2), is a serine protease that is encoded by the PRSS22 gene. Initially identified as a brain-specific enzyme, Tryptase E is also expressed in epithelium-rich tissues such as lung and eye. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
