Source: Recombinant protein expressed in Pichia pastoris Description: Canine Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF alpha) is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the canine inflammatory response. Biological Activity: This product has an ED50 of 10pg/ml, determined by measuring the cytolytic effect of recombinant canine TNF alpha on murine WEHI-13VAR-164 cells in the presence of Actinomycin D. Applications: Suitable for use in In vitro applications and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
