Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNFa) expressed in E. coli.
Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNFa) is a 17kD cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4+ T cells. TNF alpha forms dimers and trimers, and is also found as a 26kD integral membrane protein. Mouse TNF alpha has cytolytic activity against many tumor cell lines, and has an important immunoregulatory role. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections ELISA: 2ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
