Two synthetic peptides corresponding to Tyrosine Hydroxylase gene product (KLH). Species sequence homology: human
Tyrosine hydroxylase is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. As the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, tyrosine hydroxylase has a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 1:50-1:100 using 2% paraformaldehyde fixed cells. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 using 2% paraformaldehyde fixed tissues. Western Blot: 1:2000-1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
