UGRP-2 is an 8kD member of the secretoglobulin family of molecules. It is synthesized as a 104aa precursor that contains a 21aa signal sequence and an 83aa mature region. There are no potential N-linked glycosylation sites. Based on other members of the family, HIN-1 is likely to exist as a disulfide-linked homodimer. The molecule is found in mammary and upper airway epithelium. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
