Vandetanib inhibits VEGFR-dependent tumor angiogenesis and EGFR- and RET-dependent tumor cell proliferation and survival. Solubility: Soluble in DMSO at 30mg/ml, soluble in ethanol at 10mg/ml with warming, very poorly soluble in water, maximum water solibility is estimated to be about 10-20uM, buffers, serum, or other additives may increase or decrease the aqueous solubility. Melting Point: 227-228C Elemental Analysis: Calculated: C - 55.596% H - 5.09% Br - 16.81% F - 4.00% N - 11.79% Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
