KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 613-640 in the central region of human VAP1
Copper amine oxidases catalyze the oxidative conversion of amines to aldehydes in the presence of copper and quinone cofactor. The product is a major protein on the adipocyte plasma membrane. It has adhesive properties and also has functional monoamine oxidase activity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Indirect Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:2000 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:25 Immunohistochemistry: For paraformaldehyde sections, heat induced antigen retrieval with citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
