Recombinant protein corresponding to human VEGF165 expressed in E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, FLISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded): 5-15ug/ml with a 30 minute incubation at RT or an overnight incubation at 4C. Neutralization: 0.05-0.1ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity (10ng/ml). FLISA (Indirect amd Sandwich): 0.5ug/ml (100ul/well). Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hVEGF. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
