Recombinant protein corresponding to human VEGF165 expressed in E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, FLISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded): 5-15ug/ml with a 30 minute incubation at RT or an overnight incubation at 4C. Neutralization: 0.05-0.1ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity (10ng/ml). FLISA (Indirect amd Sandwich): 0.5ug/ml (100ul/well). Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hVEGF. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
