Recombinant protein corresponding to human VEGF165 expressed in E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, FLISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded): 5-15ug/ml with a 30 minute incubation at RT or an overnight incubation at 4C. Neutralization: 0.05-0.1ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity (10ng/ml). FLISA (Indirect amd Sandwich): 0.5ug/ml (100ul/well). Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hVEGF. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
