Vesicular GABA Transporter (unc-47) homologue is a 525 amino acid long protein belonging to the family of neurotransmitter transporter. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500 on 10ug rat retina lysates. Immunohistochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 2-20ug/ml on paraformaldehyde fixed sections. ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Control: Brain tissue, rat retina lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
