A 12 AA peptide sequence near the C-terminus of rat VMAT1 (1). This peptide is predicted to be cytoplasmic. The peptide was synthesized with amino terminal Cysteine, coupled to KLH.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000 for neat serum and 0.5-1ug/ml for affinity purified. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O or buffer. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Purity:
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Form:
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
