Application: IHC
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide [CQSYPIGDDEESESD-OH] from the C-terminus of rat VMAT2 conjugated to BSA.
The vesicular monoamine transporter is responsible for the vesicular uptake of monoamines, like dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, serotonin and histamine. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections): 1:800-1:1200 using FITC. Incubation time overnight at 4C. Absorption with 10-100ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining. Dilute after reconstitution with 0.15M PBS, 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Positive Control: Frozen sections of rat small intestine. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Purity: Serum
Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 0.15M PBS, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.
