Purified recombinant human Vimentin (Vm) produced in bacteria. This protein constitutes a 20kD fragment from the amino-terminus of vimentin.
Applications: Suitable for use as in Immunoelectrophoresis (IEP) and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Purified by caprylic acid and ammonium sulfate precipitations, and solid -phase adsorption to remove unwanted crossreactivity.

Supplied as a liquid in 10mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 50% glycerol.
