Recombinant protein corresponding to His22-Ala650 from human AAP2, expressed in NS0 cells.
X-Prolyl Aminopeptidase 2 or Membrane Bound Aminopeptidase P, is widely expressed in many adult tissues with the highest levels in the kidney. The amino acid sequence of human APP2 is 95%, 84%, 82% and 81% identical to that of chimpanzee, canine, rat and mouse. Applications: Suitable for use Direct ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human APP2 is ~2ng/well. Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml. Immunoprecipitate recombinant human APP2 from conditioned cell culture medium. The recovered rhAPP2 can be detected in Western Blots using a polyclonal antibody. Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human APP2 is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
