ZAP 70, also known as TCR zeta associated protein kinase 70kD, is a protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) with the primary role of catalyzing the phosphorylation of tyrosine residues in cellular proteins, and thus, contributes significantly to the initiation of cell signaling. ZAP 70 is expressed on T cells and NK cells. Applications: Enzyme-Linked-Immunosorbent-Assay (FLISA) Flow cytometry Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
