Fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF4) is a multipotent growth factor and is highly expressed in various human cancers. In lung adenocarcinoma (ADC) cell lines, FGF4 could alter cell morphology, promote epithelialmesenchymal transitionassociated protein expression, and enhance cell proliferation, migration/invasion and colony initiation.
