ISX-9 (GMP) is a Wnt/beta-catenin pathway activator with a Kd of 595 nM for Axin1. ISX-9 (GMP) upregulates the phosphorylation levels of TAU and ERK, reduces the phosphorylation level of beta-catenin via the NGFR signaling pathway, and promotes keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) secretion by mesenchymal stem cells. ISX-9 (GMP) enhances BMAL1 activity through CaMKIIdelta-mediated serine phosphorylation, increases the amplitude of circadian oscillations of clock genes, and triggers intracellular calcium influx. ISX-9 (GMP) induces the differentiation of neuronal, cardiac, pancreatic islet endocrine and enterochromaffin progenitor cells, upregulates the expression of NeuroD1, and promotes the transition of hair follicles from the telogen to anagen phase. ISX-9 (GMP) is used in research related to acute lung injury, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep disorders, myocardial infarction and heart failure[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
