DCEM1 is a HSP60 inhibitor that inhibits the function of the mitochondrial unfolded protein response (UPRmt). DCEM1 directly impairs mitochondrial function and downregulates beta-catenin/c-Myc signaling, thereby reversing chemoresistance in cells. DCEM1 can be used for research on neuroendocrine prostate cancer and castration-resistant neuroendocrine prostate cancer[1].
