MPO-IN-9 is a selective inhibitor of myeloperoxidase (MPO), with an IC50 value of 3.9 nM. MPO-IN-9 inhibits MPO-mediated ROS production and protects NO-dependent vascular function by blocking MPOs chlorination and peroxidation cycles. MPO-IN-9 can be used for the study of diseases such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)[1].
