It exhibits significant antischistosomal activity against newly transformed schistosomula (NTS) and adult Schistosoma mansoni, though its effect on larvae shows some delay. LSD1-IN-44 demonstrates no notable toxicity to human cells and is applicable for schistosomiasis research.
