Histone-like DNA-binding protein which is capable of wrapping DNA to stabilize it, and thus to prevent its denaturation under extreme environmental conditions. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-90 from full length S. typhi HupB, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal and Myc-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in E. coli.
