Cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes. It is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-72 from human Small proline-rich protein 2B, fused to 6X His-Tag at N-terminal and Myc-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in Yeast. Molecular Weight: ~11.5kD Amino Acid Sequence: MSYQQQQCKQPCQPPPVCPTPKCPEPCPPPKCPEPCPPPKCPQPCPPQQCQQKYPPVTPSPPCQPKYPPKSK Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C.
