Rockland Immunochemicals - Enabling biomolecule detection characterization and analysis since 1962
Rocklands high-quality antibodies, reagents, services, and expertise have fueled over two generations of scientific advances and are ready to drive the next generation of discovery and development.
Established in 1962, Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. (Rockland) is a global biotechnology company manufacturing leading-edge tools for basic, applied, and clinical research in functional genomics, gene therapy, and drug discovery markets.
Rocklands Product Portfolio Overview
Monoclonal Antibodies | Polyclonal Antibodies | Recombinant Antibodies | Epitope-Tag Antibodies| RFP & GFP Antibodies| Loading Control Antibodies
Advance your research with Rockland’s ready-to-use primary antibodies, generated from a variety of hosts and ideal for researching apolipoproteins, apoptosis, epigenetics, the extracellular matrix—to name a few. Our antibodies can recognize and bind with high affinity and specificity to purify, detect, and quantify the antigen.
Conjugated Antibodies | Unconjugated Antibodies | Pre-adsorbed Antibodies | Fab Fragment Antibodies
Rockland offers a wide range of secondary antibody options for almost every possible experimental protocol. Our secondary antibodies are sourced from a variety of hosts in our onsite vivarium.
Secondary antibodies are used with various types of assays, including ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and flow cytometry (FC). The secondary antibody type is selected according to the class of the primary antibody (e.g., IgG or IgM), the source host, and the kind of label such as horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Most primary antibodies are of the IgG class and are produced in a common set of host species that includes rabbit, mouse, goat, or chicken.
Red Blood Cells | Whole Blood | Serum & Plasma | Complement | Gamma Globulin Fractions | Tissue Powders
Rockland produces a variety of blood products that are collected from healthy, fasted donors in our on-site laboratory and vivarium. The donors are monitored for health status, unmedicated, and maintained on an antibiotic-free diet.
Researchers using our products depend on consistency and safety, which is why Rockland focuses a significant time and resources on constructing world-class manufacturing processes. Each component used in our manufacturing process is developed within our facilities, ensuring that each step of the process can be certified and verified multiple times. Our goal is to provide accountability and repeatable test results with each product we develop.
Proteins and Peptides
Rockland offers a large range of proteins and peptides for use in your research, including cytokines, growth factors, enzymes, and more. Our peptides and proteins ensure reliable and repeatable results.
Rockland offers supporting research reagents to facilitate various immunoassays, including blocking solutions, Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), and enzyme substrates. The use of Rockland's research reagents dramatically increases the quality and reproducibility of experiments. Blocking solutions are essential for use in ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and many other antibody-dependent assays. Rockland also produces common biological and physiological buffers, protein stains and ladders, and highly polished reverse-osmosis purified deionized water for use in a variety of biological applications.
Cell Lines and Lysates
Rockland offers control cell lysates, nuclear extracts, and animal tissues from a variety of hosts for use in SDS-PAGE and Western blot applications, as well as over 100 melanoma cell lines grouped for BRAF, N-RAS, KIT, PTEN and CDK4 mutations.
TrueBlot Secondary Antibodies | TrueBlot IP Beads | TrueBlot Kits
Immunoprecipitation (IP) and Western blot (WB) protocols provide highly specific results but often suffer from poor or non-specific binding, high background, and heavy/light chain interference. Rockland’s TrueBlot® line of products consists of both TrueBlot® IP beads and TrueBlot® monoclonal secondary antibodies, which combat these common experimental issues by providing increased specificity, low background, and enhanced accuracy to provide publication-quality IP Western blots without interference from contaminating IgG.
Achieve high sensitivity and reproducible results efficiently and economically with protein detection kits from Rockland. Our easy-to-use kits are designed to provide you with all the critical components needed for your application.
